So after getting my special edition of SC2 at midnight I did my placement matches and went 4-1 losing to a zerg which I let go into uber macro mode and my push failed. But after being placed in gold I went 5-0 and was placed into platinum. I am currently rank 9 in my platinum league. I would love to make it to diamond but I don't think I belong there quite yet even though I am trying my damnedest to play and get better.

Other notes I just finished my first lesson with incontrol today, and it went well, he pointed out some things for me to improve on and have another lesson scheduled for next week. I'll keep you posted on my progress.

Also my free trial of winzip has expired and I would like to not have to buy the full version. Is there another free product out there that does the same thing. Or do I just need to bite the bullet and buy it?

Also someone having season tickets to the Cincinnati Bengals I am very exciting to see TO Ocho and Antonio Bryant, not to mention the rookie TE Gresham hopefully this will be a good year and not so heartbreaking as other year they are hyped.

P.S. This isn't a blog for you to question coaching, I don't want a argument for or against coaching. I decided to do it and its my choice so dont bash.

I can help with the third part: Use 7-zip.

Pretty much the only program of that sort you'll ever need.

unless you're using like Windows 2000 or something ancient, Windows can open and make .zip files on its own

but 7-zip is very good because you're bound to encounter a .7z or .rar file in the future

I've never heard of 7-zip, but I've been using winrar for years and never had a single problem. What a wonderful program, so useful.

7-zip is really good. What is your apm? And the Bengals always get receivers they never really need and fail. As you mentioned, they had 2 receivers and a tight end that are good. Why do u need TO?

First off thanks I went and downloaded 7zip thanks for the help. Also my apm is around 120ish average. I made it to diamond and am currently rank 17 but there are only like 40 or so people in my league, It feels really nice to have made it. Why not have TO, the salary he took didn't hurt us that bad for the cap, and Antonio Bryant is hurt with a knee injury and they aren't sure how long his rehab will be or if he will be a good receiver for the year playing hurt.

One pitfall I continue to have(in bw) is after a successful battle or some sort of achievement with the game, I become to content with myself. It's important to always say, 'this is not enough', as far as productivity within the game like macro and harrass etc. Make your enemy hate your guts! Good luck and when I get sc2 maybe we can play some games.
