Allow me to introduce myself to these fine gentlemen and gentlewomen here on Teamliquid. I'm Kevin, Nokarot, whatever, who cares.
For a brief history of my life, since I'm starting a 'blog' and all, I'm a military child, having lived in 18 houses over the last 21 years, over two countries and five states. I currently live in Washington D.C. and attend The Art Institute of Washington (for a bachelors in Graphic Design.) I've watched my fair share of Brood War, but never really played it, and since the beta have entered myself in this community and becoming a little more active every day.
But, I must take my leave [temporarily].
I am so dastardly afraid of spoilers for StarCraft II. All it takes is one persons evil mind to make a single post, viewed by me too soon for a moderator to delete it, to ruin the story/campaign/etc.
I fear I've already seen something that has spoiled a major part of the plot- a picture I glimpsed at for just two seconds too long before turning my gaze and realizing what I had seen. Twelve years of anticipation and I fear one person may have already spoiled it with a jpeg. I hope what I saw was in my head, but no way will I double check, for the hope that something wasn't spoiled is what keeps me excited.
With that, I give you my farewell, internet. I'll miss you [for a week, or until I beat the game] and while I don't encourage people to stop posting, I encourage you to be extra careful if you're looking forward to the campaign as much as I am. Avoid websites where trolls mingle- all it takes is your eyes seeing something for two seconds too long and you might see what I've seen.
Don't worry Nokarot, we'll just ruin your spoiler free week at dinner next saturday!

Yeah funkie, I do love it. Still getting the hang of finding the energy to do it on my off-time, but I'm a junior now so I'm well on my way and definitely like it.
And Zlasher, I don't have the funds (or a ride without CA) to go to dinners on a regular basis . However, if such an opportunity comes up, I'll likely have beaten it by Saturday if I have my way with it.

It really must of been annoying to get a glimpse of something. I know what you mean, but, never to this extent. This is actually the only SC related website I'm now looking at because of the worries of spoilers.
But dude, it's been forever. MammothWaffle, mattyiou, too, MaRRo, and myself have all been still in contact, mainly through a livestream I started after FinalFlight burned out. I thought most people just stopped playing SC2, and just disappeared into having "RL stuffz". We should totally start something up again after the game comes out/when your ready. Just PM me a message or something.
Yay killykill. I saw your name in that "Favorite moments of the Beta" thread- we both referenced the Finalflight days. Pretending that I knew how to shoutcast was really fun, even though it was short lived (thanks to his disappearance and that week-long cold I had.)
