I had eye muscle surgery 2 months ago. Then they woke me up and continued adjusting the stiches whilst I sat there all calm trying not to go crazy

The biggest pain for me was my eyelashes would gunk up all the time and id have to clean them which wasn't easy. Took a month for that to stop and my eye is still red to this day.

If his surgery was anything like mine. He will have a bloodshot red terminator eye for roughly 2 weeks

Don't worry, I've been in surgery at least 3 times(maybe 5.) Anesthesia is alright, it's perfectly safe. I used to be (wrongly) afraid that I would only be drugged enough so that I can't move, but I can still expierence the pain. Like I'm in a coma and I'm having an autoposy performed on.
Don't worry though, nothing ever happened.

that only happened once and because of it they have to monitor your brain waves and such now, so no worries
