It was a very important moment as Andy Schleck had created distance to his direct rival the spanish rider Alberto Contador. Normally when an attack happens you like to respond very fast, because in the event that you gonna catch him again you will have to fight against the wind too, no need for that if you can avoid it. By sticking close to the attacker, the attacker will make a slipstream for you.
So the only thing Schleck could do was press S for stop and sort out the bug. In the action of this ofcourse he lost the chance to secure the yellow jersey and instead he ended up losing it. (yellow jersey = the guy who is in the lead)
Its totally like when a goon is bugging out, happens usually when u goon micro. Its not your skills that determine the outcome but the status of your equipment. And when a goon bugs out that can totally mean that you will lose the game. Like in beginning of the game when terran move out and you have to maybe goon micro your 4 goons and suddenly 1 goon bugs out. Thats like a free 25% loss of your army, so devastating.
Yeah when i have a goon bugout i get the same feeling as when Andy Schleck lost his chain, im sure.
