EPTI remember in my school days I have a desire to stand out. I mean, more popular? More famous? Actually I have pretty good grades when I was younger. But still it is not top student. I make alot careless mistake that is why, so deep in my heart I still think I am quite smart. keke
So I don't really like it when classmate say he is so clever everytime full marks. I can do it too.. but sometimes misread question sometimes calculate wrong sometimes nervous. I always end up losing ALOT of marks. But I know I can answer all of the question.
Whenever there is question asked, people go for top student for advise. I remember 1 time top student reach school pretty late. So classmate ask me instead. I teach them the correct things. But they doubt me and say NO NO NO you CANNOT do this because..blah blah blah rubbish rubbish.
When top student come in class, classmate went to him and ask the same question. Top student teach EXACTLY the same thing and classmate said AHHH, THIS MUST BE CORRECT.
You know, Wtf? Yea! I am so angry I went toilet to wash face. And teacher always praise him and take so good care of him. Gosh he is so popular. I am jealous

In China, classroom is very very very big with alot of students. And it is total silence during lesson time. Or most of the time it is silence. So you can imagine how boring in lesson if you don't understand a single shit come out of teacher mouth.
This is where student creative comes in. They find ways to entertain.
Sleeping in class
Play paper aeroplane
Throw messages to girlfriend
Eat in class
Daydreaming
Make fun of teacher behind his back
Playing with pencil

I daydream alot in class, so teacher loves asking me question. To make sure my spirit is in class too. So I have to deal with this sticky situation alot of times. Most of the times I am screwed.
But sometimes I have defiance side too. I just hope by showing some rightiousness and firmness I can stop teacher from keep calling my name, at the same time getting more popular?
Getting popular? Yea in a sense I am more popular, but it was a disaster doing so. It just like a nail in the coffin as the Blur one.
Let me share with every1 2 memorable incidents.

Teacher: Joyce!
Joyce: Yes?
Teacher: Repeat what I said.
Joyce: You did not say anything.
Teacher: Are you sure?
Joyce: I think so.
Teacher: What do you mean I think so?
Joyce: I am 97% sure, Teacher.
*Teacher took in deep breath, I have a feeling I am screwed, so I decided stop being a defiler at this point*
Teacher: Sigh..why 97%? Where are the other 3 % goes?
Joyce: Insurance..
Teacher: What do you mean?
Joyce: Just in case you really did say something.

Teacher: When you chew a bread for awhile, it becomes sweeter, why is it so?
Teacher: Joyce please answer.
Joyce: It is not possible.
Teacher: What!? Why?
Joyce: I experiment with a bread yesterday night, I chewed it for an hour.
Teacher: It turns sweeter.
Joyce: No way, bread does not turn into candy. Bread still taste like bread.

I do not like it, he is so dead positive bread will turn sweet after chewing for an hour because it is written black and white in books. He has not test it himself. He should chew it for an hour too and confirm the book was right, not blindly believing in books

That was what the teacher was expecting. But I agree that the way he asked the question was kinda dumb.
