I usually don't write blogs, but something is on my mind.

When you look outside a window in my house at night, there is this one star. Except, this star constantly changes colors. It goes blue then red then green etc. and sometimes, I think it's even moving.

At first I dismissed it as being a plane passing by, but it's there every night. It even blinks sometimes. Now I really want to know what it really is.

A crescent shaped star? Hmm, I have no idea what that could be. I would be freaked out as well.

just to clear this up, that picture is not the picture of the star I'm talking about, my star looks like a normal star at first glance..

I'm fairly certain its not possible that you're seeing a star which itself has variable coloring, but at a guess various factors in the atmosphere could be changing the color you perceive.

Even if its a planet, which would explain perception of motion (although you'd have to watch for a fair amount of time to notice), variable coloring doesn't make sense.

But I'm guessing this wasn't actually a serious question based on the spoiler images.
