It's currently 4AM and in 5 hours I have a huge test to take. And lets just call this night far from optimal. I went to my moms (she lives close to the uni) to be able to get some peace and quiet while I study and maybe a good nights sleep. They went on vaication this sunday so I have the house to myself and just got two dogs to watch. Sounds like a good deal huh? Turns out it isnt. Here's a timeline of what has happend so far.
Midnight - Ok time to get some sleep, "I've studied enough". So I go to bed and fall asleep pretty quickly.
2:20 AM - One of the dogs comes and JUMPS on my face. I seriously have a bruise on my face where he hit me. What did he want? He had to go out and pee. Well no problems really, I'll just let him out and go back to sleep right? No
2:30 AM - Dog just peed and I go back to bed, fall asleep.
2:40 AM - Wake up just as my body hits the floor. Both dogs decided that it was inefficient to have me sleep alone in that big bed so they decided to jump up on it and push me off.
2:50 AM - 2nd time they push me out of the bed, I take the hint and go to sleep on the couch. (yes my dogs made me sleep on the couch)
2:57 AM - WROOOOOOOM. "HOLY FUCKING SHIT WHAT WAS THAT?!" Apparently a fucking fly decided to practise low altitude flying right beside my ear. This goes on for about an hour.
3:40 AM - "Fuck this, I wont be able to sleep". I get up and quickly down two redbulls.
3:41 AM - The fly is gone. I have redbull in my bloodstream.... fucking awesome.
4:00 AM - "I should make a blog on TL whining about this"
Yeeeeeah.... so wish me luck. Gonna need it just to stay awake!

why didnt you lock the dogs out of your room? or kill the fly instead of ignoring it lol.

So they know how to turn the door knob? I'm guessing the door knob isn't round? Just put like 300 pounds of stuff behind the door lol.

Eh... power through it... that's what I always do, although I usually drink about 2 liters of green tea to keep me awake... plus it keeps me moving about (going to the washroom and the like)

so you tried one other area to sleep then just said "fuck it ill drink redbulls"? Contrary to popular belief red bulls do nothing to help you when you can't sleep.

Oh man, redbull definitely wasn't a good plan, I suggest you don't make decisions while incredibly tired.
Too late for any sleep related suggestions, I suggest working out until your test and then downing more redbull before the test xD

hey dogs are awesome! normally I wouldnt mind having them in my room at all while I was trying to sleep but as I said they figured out how to open the doors.

no we dont have knobs, we have handles. so they just jump up and drag the handle down on their way down.
Anyway, managed to stay awake for the test (2 more redbulls did the trick) and I did ok-ish
