If I could prove it to everyone else: How can light speed travel be obtained? Reasoning: I'd be super rich and humanity would be better for it If it's something only I would ever know: How do I get a job working at Blizzard for the rest of my life? Reasoning: Greed

I meant in a non-physical way. Do people just cease to exist? In terms of consciousness/mind. Only one way to find out! /slits wrists Kind of hard to figure out (read: impossible) but people who have "died" (heart stopped for extended period) report both weird visions and stuff, or nothing, Visions do not prove anything though, as it can easily be explained by your brain going a bit crazy as it is shutting down. Dony worry, you`ll find out soon enough. My guess is that nothing happens and you just die and cease to exist in any way as a individual. The atoms that you are composed of will of course stick around, being used in other interesting things. (Your body probably contains millions of atoms from Cesar, Djenghis Khan, Buddha, and Jesus. The reason is that over time the incredible number of atoms in your body will mix with the rest and spread itself out over the whole world. Only takes a few thousand years. Nifty eh?)

Nothingness? If you definitively know what happens, everything changes

More likely is a Roman or Greek view of Gods where there are many who bicker and have fallacies. Eventually though when you start thinking of religion in absolutes you lose. Religion, and indirectly God, is best left as an idea or goal if you will. A plan that humanity has decided is good that you should follow at your own pace for the good of humanity. Anyone that takes it further than that is only hurting themselves because when you truly believe in something you close your mind off to anything that would threaten that belief. Ultimately leading to most of the problems we have in the world.

Nah but on a more serious note, I'd ask a random guy in the street how I can obtain magical powers, cuz with my magical powers I would achieve world domination!

Actually now that I rethink it I'm wrong, its just as easy to explain a civilization ruling over us (Roman/Greek gods) as it is to think of a singular consciousness (monotheistic religions). My train of thought in this is where did that thing come from? Well it could have come from a civilization of sorts that transformed into one super-organism and then eventually into one entity. Another good guess would be that the universe itself (of which encompasses litterally 'everything' in this definition) is conscious and acts as God. So yeah, I was definitely wrong.

My question would be similar to Ghen's. I'm a definite space junkie and have always had a love for all things space. It really is the final frontier for humanity, and speaking in the long term, if the human race is to continue to grow both culturally and biologically, we WILL need to become a space faring species. It is the only logical next step. Being confined on Earth will only lead to eventual stagnation and extinction. So yeah, mine would be, "What are the steps (detailed how-to) to achieving rapid (from a human's perspective) interstellar travel?" As far as the question of asking what happens after death. Frankly I would rather NOT know, as I may not like the answer... Better to just not die at all. Hmmm maybe I should ask that question, "What is the secret to immortality!"
