Well, I finished them days ago.
Before I kick back into school mode tomorrow, I think I just had the greatest weekend of my life. I really didn't care much for school, teachers didn't care since its AP season, and nothing went according to the plan (which meant no tests and quizzes that some idiotic teachers assigned to us).
For some reason, however, taking AP off my head brought improvements to my SC and SC2 skills slightly. I don't know why, but it just did. Maybe its because I watch a lot of progames lately, or maybe I just started to think better in this game. For whatever reason, it works out (and now I think I can hit mid-D+ if only I didn't get cheesed enough).
Wow Code Jam from Google. I thought it was going to be much harder than I expected. Although I failed question 3 due to unknown reasons (I need to figure out why my program crashed... probably due to the array not being able to hold something like x[2^31]) I got the first question correct which made me qualify for the first round in 2 weeks. Hopefully, I do well in that and move-on to the second round. After that... I will fail miserably =]
Also saw Iron Man 2 today. Weaker than Iron Man, just like what others said, but as a sequel, it was pretty good. Enjoyable for me, at least. If you're a Michael Bay fan, not too much boom boom kapow explosion. If you're into hi-tech stuff, go watch it now =) I think some reviews are negative only because Iron Man was good, and they hoped that it lives up to its previous film.
I can talk about many more things here (yay ARML/ACSL), but I don't think I will cause I will be wasting your time.
tl;dr: I had a good weekend filled with improvements in SC, Iron Man 2, and Google Code Jam

Hehe, your life seems good now. My teachers suck. I'm a senior and taking APs, and they decide to unload the most work they have in a few weeks. "Testing weeks" are complete baloney, yo.
T_T I still have all my APs to take.

Er can you explain this? First of all you mean teachers didn't care as in they let you chillax in their non-ap classes since they knew you were focused on APs and many students were out of the class taking APs anyway? Also, the 'idiotic' teachers assigned tests/quizzes to be assigned during AP week but then canceled them, hence being idiot because they should have realized they were gonna have to cancel them anyway? Or am I misunderstanding something?

Some teachers forgot to give out quizzes
in other classes we bragged about APs until they got sick of it and did almost absolutely nothing.
In AP classes... it was free hour =)

Which language did you use for Code Jam?
|
I mainly use C++. Simple and quick.
I could've done the problems in java, but I prefer C++ when it comes to competition/contest coding.
Speaking of which, Code Jam Qualifier was very easy. I didn't try out number 2 because it was dealing with huge numbers, and I couldn't think up of an algorithm for the problem.
Third question I brute forced (I think, didn't give a lot of thought to the problem itself). I think that's why my large case failed.
First question is just binary numbers =)
