After a week of hard work, I needed to play Call of Duty 4 online (yes, I don't play MW2, and if anyone's interested you can add me: SilverSkylark) and I was told that I needed to update to 3.30. Tried to do it but after two or more minutes of 0% download, I decided to check out how large the file is (too lazy to let the ps3 dl overnight). Turns out to be 166mb (170 after downloading) which my schools internet can handle pretty easily (downloaded it this morning, done in 10 minutes. Internet is crappy here).
So while looking for the update, I noticed that there seems to be issues with the update ranging from non responsive bluetooth controllers (unless you connect them manually) to turning your PS3 into a big ass paperweight. Some issues also posed problems as the game will freeze after 15 or so minutes of playing and bugs the game sometimes.
The crappy thing is now that I'm thinking twice on updating to 3.30 since Sony hasn't released a stand on it yet about the update (or maybe I haven't looked hard enough) since some people are really pissed off because they became Sony's Beta Testers and some of the units actually broke down.
So, if anyone of you updated to 3.30 and had problems with it or knows about the issue more than I do please do share.
My ps3 is 60GB Fat, my dad got it 2~3 years ago, don't know if that helps..
