You still have the blue rank.

I hate teachers who use the blackboard sheet for getting a letter grade. Any decent teachers just uses it for Check or missing.

ooh that kinda sucks lol. what class was this?

Why didn't you do assignment 8 or 11?

#8 was week before Spring Break.
#11 I actually forgot I had class that day. I completely went from my previous class to home without even thinking about it.

Too bad. Doing the two missing assignments and not bombing exam 2 would have given you a decent grade. Seems like a waste to do all the other work. I am more of an A or fail kind of guy I guess.

Don't worry dude, grades aren't everything.

Should of probably included this also.
"Here is how I determined the final grades:
First, I dropped the lowest homework score. Then I looked at raw exam scores (no extra credit added). If your raw final exam percentage was higher than at least one of your other exam percentages, I replaced your lowest exam percentage with your final exam percentage."
Its mostly the one HW and/or the extra credit that cost me.

I dropped to a B- for my (hs) 3rd quarter in bio, have the easiest teacher ever and want to jump off a cliff I feel like a failure

edit: yes your getting advice from a middle schooler.

I would email her about it, but I doubt she is in a good mood with me. I drew hearts on her exams and put down she was "very pretty" on the final paper I wrote for her. Had a crush on her, but can't really do much now the year and final grades end on Saturday.
She probably setup the score the way she did just for me. </3

In Canada 80 + is an A minus and above (this applies to university as well). How can there be such a big difference in the two grading systems? Does anyone with experience in the educational institutions from both countries know if there is a difference or is it just that Canadians are easier graders?

Difference is, we have to wrestle a bear to get into a class.

Where I go in Canada 80-85 is B+, 85-90 A-, 90-95 A, 95-100 A+ But its different for other faculties and other schools.

I don't think you know how college works lol :3
You get one grade for a class. That's it. It's not a multiple-section thing, one class, one semester, one grade :3
