EPTIn the end, I don't understand the hate for disney stars (except hannah montana, I get why people hate that) and Bieber. People just call him "fag" and "gay" when he's just a young singer singing popular songs that appeal to his target audience. It's a business. If you start looking beyond that and judging him as a person, it just shows that you are jealous of him or that you are unable to appreciate the work he does without making judgment calls of your own.

Maybe if it was some other dude with a better voice :p Disney stars are alright if they have a good voice. Hannah montana aka miley cyrus can suck it. Her accent is the only thing covering her lack of vocals + they are milkn it. Imo the only current disney star who can sing is demi lovato. ahaha anyways so yeah I DO listen to rap artist.....you mean >< they are good welll....dependoing on who you are listening to. Regardless of what you think about him personally, being pissed off about incessantly having to hear about this guy and his (apparently near fatal) effect on young girls doesn't necessarily stem from jealousy or the inability to appreciate but rather it reflects on the general dissatisfaction many Americans hold for the national (and to a degree local) mainstream media currently. It is 75% trash and 25% spin.  | ||

You are basically making the claim that another person made earlier which is that the problem doesn't lie with the one person, but with the music industry for producing this "type" of music and the society for eating it. Also, I'm not sure where you are spewing out random statistics from, but the reason that Bieber and disney singers are so successful is because there is a market for it. I'm not sure what you are thinking, but their target audience is NOT adults, older males, or even Americans in general. There is a very specific, focussed audience to which they cater, and the fact that he is so successful within that audience makes him a success. | ||
