EPTPatch 10 came along and I log on SC2 for some hot placement match action. I'm so pumped to retake my throne as 1st place on my platinum division before the reset(my division was horrible heh). I hit the mutliplayer button, terran 1v1 quick match, and [FIND MATCH] button. First game, easy win protoss clearly had no idea how to play(built 2 assimilators before he made any workers). 2nd match was a bit of a challenge, not too bad again won it. The third and fourth, easy peasy lemon squeezy. I could feel platinum within my grasp. Then came the fifth match.
It was a TvT on (s)crap station. I scouted, he was going just a standard 12 rax. I did the same build, rushed a thor and thor dropped his ass. Amidst owning his workers, he decided to attack my base in an all-in kind of manner. Because of my second thor at my base and my larger army number, his army was demolished. He immediately lifted off all his buildings and floated them across the massive space area(I don't know why they made it so big). I sighed and started making vikings hunting around for his buildings. I first checked all the expos and found all of his buildings at the top expo behind the rocks. He lifted up everything and flew them in opposite directions. I went after his command center first, but by the time that was dead I had no idea where anything else was.
I continued pumping vikings and asking him to leave, but he didn't say anything(typical). I continued looking for the buildings, sniped the rax and kept the hunt up... until- my screen froze and the music looped. My face froze and I felt a chill run down my spine. I frantically spam clicked and slammed any key that would do something but to no avail. I bashed the alt+contrl+delete key until my fingers bled(overexageration) but alas my computer froze.
Attempting to contain my rage, I silently pushed down the power button and rebooted my pc. I logged into Bnet, and I was welcomed by a congratulation screen congratulating me on my new league of...
