pillows fans (japanese rock band)?

SUP. I'm a hardcore fan of the pillows, and sadly I missed them the last time they came to the US, as I was poor and didn't want to drive 10 hours each way to the closest show. Now I am not AS poor, but their only shows are in California, so I'd have to fly in.

I was just wondering if anyone here was considering going to either of their shows next month in SF or Pomona. I'd like to go, but I know nothing about the area re: transportation, lodging, other stuff to do, etc. I figured I'd ask other pillows fans first, and then other Californian TLers if no one here listens to them. Let me know, and thanks!

That is one of my favorite songs. I love songs where the "feel" is offset from the meter, then adjusted to reveal the true beat. They have several songs that do this. Purely instrumentally, that'd be one of my top 3 choices to want to hear live. Lyrically, it obviously can't compete with things like One Life, Strange Chameleon, Kanojo wa Kyou, etc. Although altogether I think I'd want to hear a song like Tashikame ni Yukou or 1989 just because of how they build and because of the emotion behind them.

For these concerts, I'm finding airfare for around 300, so that's not a problem. I just don't want to end up spending another several hundred on transportation, lodging, etc. That's why I'm wondering if anyone else is going.

Hey, thanks for sharing this! I've actually been thinking about getting more back support for my late-night gaming and music sessions too. Never considered a wedge pillow case before, but that sounds super practical. Appreciate the tip—might give it a try!
