I think Nony also read these, since his sc2 beta nick "Kruppe" comes from this series. Edit: It's a series, the first book is called Gardens of the Moon.

Oh and just for the record: I have read some of the classics, in my OP I just said what I've read recently. Ofc I've read 1984 ^^

littlechava United States7220 Posts April 18 2010 20:20 GMT #46 I'd recommend "Kitchen Confidential" by Anthony Bourdain If you aren't familiar, he's a chef who was formerly on the Food Network, now he has a show called "No Reservations" where he goes around the world visiting various places and eating their food... probably the best job ever. This book is about his beginnings with food and cooking, and his life as a chef. Lots of interesting stuff about the restaurant industry. Even if you aren't into cooking it's a good read imo.
