I just think it's silly to arrest someone to take a video of a press conference in a democratic country, and ridiculous to arrest one for asking a question. You can't be arrested for asking a question, and probably not for taking a video. I can only assume that there must be some underlying issues here that we don't know about if this kid is actually being arrested/was prosecuted. | ||

I'm pretty sure he is going to be arrested for trespassing after being barred from the University. That's what it seems like. It also seems like the circumstances under which he was barred are unlawful, but he hardly has an incentive to provide any information that would indicate his prior arrest was justified. | ||

The little article about the machete guy was pretty messed up though. Sounds like the stories you hear about over seas. To hear they are trying to segregate and instigate those cultural differences in Canada is kind of ridiculous. I'm sure it has to be a small minority that are doing these things, but to threaten the lives of other students on the street seems... I don't know. | ||
