Another feature on this blog is I will post the Starcraft section of my year long running podcast The Elitists. It's a Blizzard news podcast that covers all the news in the Blizz, but here is the first on TL for your Starcraft news pleasure. We also outline plans for a new podcast network called GG going partially online this weekend.

With the announcement of the GG network I want to make this upcoming site a sort of hub for a brand of Starcraft 2 gaming shows. At the moment we have the ground work finished for a video commentary series (there can always be more commentators) a game discussion series, an interview series, a news series, and a strategy series.

You need to report stuff that isn't just the last week of topics on TL. This is why I value Artosis's news because it actually is "new" and is stuff you can't find out just by browsing the internet. And then you need to have some sort of credibility in terms of playing at a high level to commentate. You can't just attract SC fans by saying "Warcraft 3 is bad!" Basically another knockoff youtube commentator, except quite pretentious despite coming from a WoW background.

So what you're basically saying is someone should browse TL all day to find all the stories instead of just watching/listening to something that sums it up?

That's like saying you shouldn't watch the news because you can find all the stuff online anyway.

I think anyone attempting to make content for the community should be encouraged. That's just me, I guess I'm one of those 'knockoff YouTube commentators' though.

add a story in there about how you contact people for interviews then completely blank on getting back to them after asking what their schedule is o-O
