If i7 procs are out of your budget, try to aim for this. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834115733

Also you should try to avoid newegg at all costs when buying a notebook, they tend to have crappier warranties, a retarded screen warranty(freaking 8 dead pixels to rma it!), and higher prices for popular models(I got my g73 for $1440 and they raised it to $1600 within 3 days). If you can't find any resellers where you live, then newegg is the way to go I guess. xoiticpc/gentechpc are good but not sure if they ship out side of the U.S. Oh and one side note. The Alienware m11x is actually a surprisingly good laptop. If you can accept an 11 inch screen the thing is quite a mini beast. 4 pounds, up to 8 hours of battery, and a good graphics card. The processor isn't that great, but its good enough for web surfing and games. Lenovo has great price/performances as well, not to sure about quality, Sager has great quality products for higher prices. Those are the only 4 brands I would recommend(3 actually since the other two alienwares are shitty for their price).

As someone who study in Naval Architecture I use alot of Auto CAD too, and I think a 15'' sceen is small and it gets very annoying after a while. Maybe you should aim for a larger screen as the one below. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834152159 Acer's quality is good but their laptops tend to wear off really fast. If you dont care for the appearance Acer is ok.

HD 3200 are you planning to play SC2 on it? I'm not sure how it would run, anyone got benchmarks? And only 1.6GHz Dual but then again the price is pretty cheap If you think this is all you need and on a budget, go for it I got a 600 budget laptop myself But it can run SC2 on lowest settings :D
