You know, I was always curious as to why marriage couples end up the way they do sometimes, like how much they loved each other to get married and then it comes crashing down  Just so sadI'm curious to how they acted toward each other while they dated, just a thought | ||

She had a life past just raising me. She was a human being with emotions that sometimes made her say things she didn't mean. She was a human being who cried when her mother passed away. She fell apart when her husband left. She was flawed, just a person, like me. this part really impressed me the most, you have a way with words | ||

From what I've gathered through questioning both of them, it was a very quick, whirlwind, forbidden romance that turned into quick marriage (they both had other serious partners when they met)... when the dust finally settled, I think the differences between the two of them started to get more and more pronounced as the initial passion fizzled. Emotions can definitely be blinding in the beginning... because the feeling is so overwhelming I think a lot of people believe that's really all it takes but there's so much more to it than that. I think marriages are tested once certain flaws that can't be ignored start emerging as is inevitable in any long term relationship. Both people should consciously work at compromising for the other person but a lot of times this doesn't happen for a whole variety of reasons (pride, can't see past their bubble, victimizing themselves, shocked that the person they were so enamored by is actually a sloth, etc...) I'm surprised at how many people were able to relate to my story but it touches me to know that. Thank you all for your kind words. P.S. happy birthday boes!  | ||
