The captions is really what makes the site great, the timing on the images and captions in the articles are so gold.

I laughed a lot at the "6 Famous Explorers Who Shaped The World (With Insane Lies)" article today, especially the "Please Magellanites, throw down your Magellan sticks and get off of Magellan Beach!" part.
Cracked and The Onion are by far the best comedy websites in the web.

Most of the stuff on that site is grossly exaggerated to produce shock value and instill interest.

I stopped reading cracked when I realized the majority of it were extremely overexaggerated/generalized bullshit without proper sourcing. If you know anything about the topics they write about, you will know that half of the stuff they say is pseudoscience half truths. All I would say it's not getting you educated properly, or is it giving you proper knowledge. You'd be better off reading books instead of going to cracked.
