The internet is just an excuse to procrastinate for you. You can fight this by having plans made ahead of time and making deals with yourself.

Plan to spend 30 minutes fucking around... stuff like that.

Yeah I often find my self procrastinating and feeling sooo lazy to the point where I'm visiting the same bookmarks to see if anything has been updated in the past five minutes... a good solution would be to have a different area to do homework in. But if it's work that requires a computer.... ¬¬

What I usually do is mix it, like 30 mins of internet then 30 mins of doing school stuff, and if I play a game for lets say an hour and a half, I do 45 mins of school stuff, if I need to. Works for me...

If you truly want to get things done, I would suggest giving up just for fun sites like Teamliquid and stop using a PC (as in personal compute). I gave up computers entirely except for library computers when I needed it for homework, and then ended up the most productive I've ever been in my life. In the end, though, it was all about self-control. If I wasn't so determined to not waste time, I probably would've just gone to the library everyday and browsed Teamliquid there.
