Okay so let me make this clear there is a thread about the 2nd wave of invites incoming that has become the (un)official place where you can say ZOMG I WANT IN without getting looked down upon. But seriously seeing someone posting that they want to get into the beta already in just about EVERY thread in the SC2 forums is starting to piss me off. Okay it's understandable when it's in a thread about the beta invites but derailing threads that have NOTHING to do with the beta invites except for the fact we're talking about a game that's in the beta by going "QQ" about you have no beta invite is super annoying.
That's all I just had to rant a bit and it's my blog so  where else?

On a more serious note.. completely agree with you, people should just breathe easy and if they get beta they get beta, if not.. just make sure you are first in line when the game comes to stores.

Don't think of it as being behind, the only thing that people are getting is practice on the mechanics and honestly a few weeks practice isn't going to make a difference in the long run. The balance -is- going to change more so everything they're learning about Build orders and timings is going to change.
Seriously people playing right now only gain a short term advantage they need to still keep up with it when the game goes live and Teamliquid is an awesome resource when the game goes live you'll see strategies aplenty.
