Time to bone up on your computers and start lurking on some technology deals sites in New Zealand to see what you can scrounge up. Your cheapest option would probably be to be some pre-configured tower like a Dell or an HP with integrated graphics, make sure that the power supply can handle an external graphics card, and then throw in a budget $80-$100 graphics card. Obviously if you are going for the long term you should build your rig from scratch with a high end motherboard (most pre-configured towers usually come with absolute crap motherboards). If you just want something that will run SC2 decently then this might be the way to go. Also, make sure you don't get a tower that is a slim design because most of them can't hold normal sized graphics cards. Good luck! | ||
