Watching Others Play Makes Me Sad

I thought the day SC2 Beta was announced I would be filled with joy. Well I was indeed filled with excitement after the first 12 hours, but after watching all these streams of decent SC1 gamers crushing n00bs in SC2, it really does make me sad

I don't even want to play SC anymore, what's the point? This really worries me about SC2. What happens if people play the game continuously for the first couple years of it's release could be great, but what happens if all the rage goes away? Will Starcraft all together become extinct?

Oh how worried I am

when SC2 is actually released you'll be surprised by how many people you crush.

I strongly doubt starcraft II will be competitive anyways.

play UMS or top v bottom,only these 2 makes the game fun

I'm eagerly looking forward to the innovative UMS maps and mods that will be produced with the SC2 editor. I'm rather ambivalent about the actual game itself.

actually part of me kinda thinks that sc2 will be like wc3, in that the game is good, but a UMS of the game will become wildly more popular and fun to play then the original, because of how beastly the map making tool is
