I downloaded some software called Camstudio, and I gave it a test. The result? Bad quality, and really laggy >< so I was wondering if there was any better software for this kind of thing, and what the specific hardware requirements would be to do this kind of thing (my computer is kind of crappy ;;;; )
Good recordings software/specs needed?

Also, your RAM will be really important. You can make it with DDR2-800, but that should be the lowest speed you can be at for perfect quality. It would be better to go DDR3-1333 or 1600, but budget constraints can be annoying. Video cards also aid in video transcoding, however they don't need a huge amount of power to do this, so something like a 4670 or maybe 5750 would work well. Other than that, i think you can use Camtasia better, but i don't know. If you're going with like 360p quality, then really what i said won't matter. Any fairly modern processor (like i said, dualcore) should be able to handle it. | ||
