I tried a 20x and a 40x and a 60x, I even found an actual salvia plant and took the leaves from it(these little orange leaves) and I'd lace a marijuana joint with it.
The 20x, 40x were funny like, I'd trip hardcore(my experience: My friends' apartment flipped over and I was walking on the ceiling, but, when I'd look up to see my friends on the floor, they were FAAAAAAAAR away, wayyy up, like, it made me lose control) but I didn't have a "holy fuck was that even safe?" trip until I tried the 60x. The orange leaves would make me and my friends giggle for a long time and the 20x and 40x made us trip a little but, once we sparked up that 60x...
It was like the death of saliva.. I thought I could see lightning going across the walls and I became part of my couch for a long time, the left side. I then tried to look around on the floor and the floor would move away from my feet, as if I was being raised on a pedestal. I never really wanted to try it again after this... poor saliva.

You guys are craaaaazy. I've done weed a few times and was scared shitless the entire time freaking out. I'd probably lose my mind and jump off a balcony if I did anything worse.

It's a really good thing that you respect the (mental) trauma that certain psychadelics can cause.
Other than that your fears are baseless, nothing else makes you paranoid quite like them. Try some DXM and you will feel like a god.

Like..insecure thoughts nonstop, and I kept feeling like somehow everyone in the room could hear them. A lot of it might of been due to the fact I did it with people I didn't really like what so ever. I wasnt comfortable at all.

That's one of the first rules of doing any drug or substance (alcohol) in my opinion. Always do them with people who you are completely comfortable with, or you won't have fun!

Until you get more experienced, you really need to feel very comfortable even with something as light as weed. I was in as safe and relaxed an environment as possible the first time I smoked out, and it was still pretty unsettling for a while. It's just a completely foreign experience to anything you can get without drugs.
Don't completely write off weed yet, Bebop. It's rather scary at first, but now I can smoke a crapload then drive on a crowded highway to go see a slasher flick and be completely fine. You'll just learn to accept and love the bizarre new place it takes you to and it won't seem unsettling anymore.

It might just be that I'm super tired with too much sugar and caffeine in my bloodstream but reading this really gave me funny feelings similar to recalling the effects of my deepest trips (having never done any heavy drugs / strong psychadelics, I guess this amounts to weed & alcohol combined) and the idea of doing that potent a salvia strain blows my mind. I've never heard of someone having a really great trip on it... having watched my brother do it a couple of times I don't really know what to think of it. Seems to create a heavy out-of-body experience for 5-10 minutes and then it's done.
What's the allure?

Strong drugs aren't for everyone. There's the rabid anti-drug crowd and then there's the opposite end which is just as bad.
Drugs like Salvia can give you really awful trips which can have long-lasting trauma beyond just the trip itself. Salvia operates on the pain centers in the brain and the trips can be hideous, to the point of inducing psychotic episodes.

Yeah I've tried 30 or 40 they had up to 100x in a lil plastic thing back then.
Now I think it's off shelves.
I tried to do this and that on salvia and came to a rather tepid conclusion that salvia isn't fun or cool.
I could talk about seeing kids, or my roommate wandering around outside of our yard clueless or trying to peel myself off a 2-D plane, but it's no fun to tell, just trying to peel yourself off the floor is nuts.

I did some shrooms once where i swear i was lowered down into the ceiling(yes, ceiling) - i don't think i can explain it more exact than that.. It was an extremely frightening experience (Especially because the ceiling was like a tv screen between channels with the SHHHHH sound and the snow and stuff) so i havent done shrooms since.
I was a watcher for 2 friends that did salvia though, and good thing i was there as one of them somehow got hold of an axe while the other dove down the stairs head first (He was "fighting a baby tooth" or some shit)
Man drugs are so weird, the hardest shit i'm on now is cigarettes :D

The first time I did salvia, I exhaled slowly and I felt myself pulled into the couch as reality dissolved in the smoke I exhaled. The The couch and my friend both looked as they they were made of straws bundled together, and I looked at him and managed to gasp out EVERYTHING IS MADE OF STRAWS. He laughed and my reac tion apparently was funny because he just continued to laugh. I felt guilty like I shouldn't be tripping. I looked up at the wall, and the wall expanded, and I saw fields with fences between them, like it was a pasture that was expanding from my wall. Then I couldn't see anything normal.
I've done LSD, DXM, DMT, and magic mushrooms, and salvia was more intense than any of them, and not in a good way.

You don't necessarily do Salvia because you find the experience enjoyable. Some people do find it pleasant, but the reason to do Salvia is because you get something out of the experience. It's not "fun," but through your trips you expand your horizons and grow your consciousness beyond where it was before.
It's more of something you look back and reflect on than something you enjoy in the moment.

For someone who has never done anything like this and probably never will I have a question. When you guys explain these trips you have the things you see are in vivid detail as we see things when we aren't on drugs or is it just an interpretation that feels real although you know that it is not.
Let me try to further explain. Right now as I type this I can see the letters on the screen so I therefore know they exist. When you are tripping do you vividly see these things (such as people as goblins or being a tree) or do you mostly just feel them and interpret the experience as a description rather than vividly seeing it.

They sell 80x in a pipe shop on Broadway in Denver but also have 160x which is the strongest you can get.. I am sure people will tell you otherwise but this shit is pretty professionally marketed so I assume it's legit. I have tripped salvia twice.
The first time I was on my couch, we put on some music and I ripped the bong. After about 25 seconds I was consumed by an intense gripping feeling like the room was being zipped up around me. i laughed hysterically for about 30 seconds. Imagine you are laughing as hard as you can then multiple that by 50; that is how funny the world seems at that moment. After that the room started morphing into a creature, my friend on the right side of the wall became a giant tooth and the carpet was a tongue. I was drenched in sweat after the trip because the room had turned into an alligator jaw. It was fucking real i swear!!! That is most of what I remember I probably left out a few minor details. It seems to take forever but really only takes about 10-15 minutes tops. This was the result of a medium sized hit of 80x.

My strangest salvia trip was seeing myself in a blank room (like the time chamber in DBZ) and I could see myself in 3rd person, about 5 meters above my head. It was pretty crazy. Then there were some black holes in the ground and I was afraid of them. The moved and talked but I couldn't understand what they were saying. It was like some kind of alien language. This was the most strange one I had with salvia but had many out body experiences with ayahuasca which is far weirder and mind expanding :D
