For something to be known whether it is deserved or not, you would have to be taught by them and see if it was beneficial or not, and if you value that in a monetary means. Going ape shit over the premise at hand is beyond dumb. You think I'm stressing over whether people pay me something for teaching them SC? It's not a big deal. But anytime someone devotes their time to you and they save you lots of time in improving, then that obviously can be worth something, or else people wouldn't pay incontrol.

I've helped gretorp and I'm still friends with him. My disposition is that of a very nice guy, but I'm not going to treat someone with respect that doesn't deserve it.

Meh, I usually mute them if they are the only source on youtube for the game. That's for entertainment purposes, not teaching. A monkey could entertain, but I wouldn't pay for it. I think it's great that people commentate, don't get me wrong, but it can be hard to stomach if the person is quite a few SC levels below you.

Also, I didn't really get the combat-ex reference. You really want to have a comparison of me and a person that cheats and is B- tops? I don't know that stuff for fact, I just think that's what I have heard. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I could be a novice at chess but enjoy it and commentating, so it would only be natural. Hardly anything worth paying for, due to not being able to provide much that anyone else in the scene couldn't if they wanted to commentate. I'm not trying to discredit people that commentate, I do think it's a great thing. I just don't see a parallel in a novice player commentating versus players who can offer a level of teaching that few others in the scene can offer.
