MMMK well i have recently gotten my own place with a friend of mine and its been a few months now. I am a person that like to eat real meals :| and iv eaten this and that lately and iv finally ran out of things that i haven't already eaten consistently.
This is why i turn to you TLer's. I want you to suggest what to make. I'm no expert chef but i do pride myself in my ability to cook so as long as its no insane dish i should be able to make it. The only thing that i really don't care for would be noodles (that eliminates a lot of foods i know :S)
i'll even post pictures for you guys when its done

Random meals I enjoy cooking: - Spaghetti and meatballs. - Hamburgers (home made) - Steak (Pan fried (PROPERLY)) and mushrooms - Spinach salad (with hardboiled eggs, chicken optional) - Any kind of curry (just use the store bought curry jars, not worth taking the time to make your own sauce from scratch) - Homemade bread (not a meal but just throwing it out there)
|
Have you tried goulash? I love that stuff..

Two things I was thinking also.
In addition, meat loaf, hamburger helper, pan fried chicken cutlets, and sloppy joe are all good dishes with meat in them.

Stroganoff and steaks, those are 2 things I know how to prepare.
|
- Japanese curry - pan fried strip loin/rib eye - tuna salad
|
Um, if you want to be healthy go for: tuna, chicken, salmon, lean meat. Add rice, pasta, potatoes. Preferrably slower carbs though like veggies.
Oh and home made Hamburgers can be awesome depending on toppings and what kind of meat you use.
You can eat anything you want of course but your body composition will reflect this.

You probably already make this but fajitas are stellar and risotto is highly, highly recommended. For the latter, seafood or tomato and basil are my personal favorite varieties.

Have you made homemade curry paste? Like breaking down all the herbs and spices and whatnot? When I did it, it took forever and wasn't that much better than just a jar I could buy.
