I mean, in the past I have joined many clans; in fact about 50-60, but mostly I just tried to humiliate the recruiters and never be seen again. Technically my clan is in a really high bwcl division; around 5-15 people ask to join weekly, most of them are pretty bad though; we also have around 10-20 active members daily. most progamers play like crap, that's why they dont release the replays; and when you see the reps they often arent that far away from some random A iccup player (doesnt even have to be korean). Ok there are few exceptions witht the top progamers; but they still arent that great. C+/B level can be achieved by like 15-20% of iccup players as far as I remember. Our current best player has a steady C+ rank methinks and wins vs anyone from the "semi good" clans. is this a troll? | ||

-make topics at boards (unique selling proposition "we have good position in leagues") -make test games on iccup (lame "join clan xxx") -ask clanmates to ask friends/good players they meet -make clan maps -organize events -release clan replays (hard if you lost good players) Maybe there is some other trick though. Since most of the mediocre clans dont organize any of those above, yet somehow manage to recruit mediocre players. 1) best terran player got sponsored and quit MorroW 2) good/best protoss player got sponsored and quit Enivid 3) good/best protoss(?) player was the only one playing bwcl consistently, thus he decided to quit Bonyth? 4) good/best zerg saw that 1,2 and 3 quit, so he went inactive Spire? but he's b- this season, so I dunno team = [MB] | ||

In that PM I also wrote that incontrol is an useless spammer+flamer, just like you (well, he is more of a flamer though). He made few posts in this thread too; none on the subject, all pure flames. | ||

If you want to get good players, don't say people who you would beg for (TSL Qualifying people) are nobodies and you don't care about them. My previous team, Revoltados, which has recently had sponsorship issues due to them dropping the BW team (basically founder of the team went inactive and had another guy deal with sponsorships, and he didn't like the BW team because we were an old game, and sponsors didn't approve because we brought in the best results, so they stopped sponsoring the entire team and the team fell apart). But anyways, my team Revoltados, went from starting as a no body, to in our peak crushing F2F and other division 1 teams with a 4-1 or 5-0 score. We started with C rank players and ended with A-/B+ players. The only way to do this is to show great manners, and a family/friendship atmosphere. I still talk/play with many ex players from my team who have moved to other various sponsored teams. You have to show manners to the scene which will attract people, and a little bit of money/gifts from sponsors doesn't hurt at all. | ||
