Wow I have been getting raped on iccup these past two days. I can't even maintain a D+ right now. I can see now why some of those legit D/D+ players were complaining about running into stronger players. While the players I've played aren't that great, the average D+ player won't match up to them at all. I've actually never had this problem before but it is very frustrating. I've played 5 D+ games and lost 5. 1 C/C+ , 2 legit C-, 1 B, and another C. It's probably just korean hours that are like this but damn this is painful. Good learning experience I guess

Try what I do: Ban everyone from [KR]

You're either lying or just had an incredibly unlucky run of opponents.

Faggot.

wait why not just ban people with [KR] in the game room?
|
Yea, I've been running into great players too, but also you should know, if you are letting your head steam, then its all your fault but just saying

yeah i don't know if they smurf or whatever, but 75% of the time the D+ korean i'm playing feels like a C/C+ during nonkorean hours

DODGER NO DODGING
seriously though, while it is a personal perference, all in all your just crippling yourself by not facing them I mean if you intend on improving eventually you're going to play them. Its like sheltering a kid from all the 'bad things' in the world and when he grows up hes so innocent he just gets taken advantage of. Not mention he'll get all angsty and say YOU LIED TO ME MY WHOLE LIFE. Then he'll run away tolearnt eh world, join a gang get in trouble and come back to apologize. EVEN THOUGH IT WAS YOUR FAULT TO BEGIN WITH BECAUSE YOURE A BAD DAD.
But I digress...seriously play the koreans, think of the children.

I just don't get this. There are tons of noob Koreans... but w/e.
It can be annoying when you are playing people who are just passing by D+ on their way to B instead of people who are stuck there but if you shrug it off then I'm sure you're bound to get games against people closer to your skill level as well.

so ive been dodging a bit too...the issue imo is not koreans who are just better at D+ because korean level is better, but that there are a lot of smurfs and koreans at D+ are more likely to be smurfing...idk. I avoid games with names including "love" or which look like random spam someone would type in when making a new shit acct, or with ridiculous looking scores like 2700. is there a way to pull up someone's record rather than just their score via /stats?
...this doesnt mean i dont smurf myself >.> everyone has to get the rage out somehow

/resetstats is the stupidest shit ever.

/clearstats is pretty bad too

na not going to dodge. I just feel sorry for the legit D/D+ players that run into these people. Played 2 more games and ran into another C Korean at the D+ level -.-. Actually won this one though

On January 16 2010 11:25 konadora wrote: Try what I do: Ban everyone from [KR] Don't be an asshole. I tried to make an icc account that says I'm from south Korea. It worked but every game I joined or someone joined mine they left. Talk about racial discrimination. I think of it more like trophy hunting and beating a Korean is pretty good. The other day I was playing at the d+ level and I played a pvz on heartbreak. The guy was Korean and I beat him and so I felt good than I looked at his record and he was c+ so I felt really good and than i looked at my apm and it was at like 33% redundancy. That felt so so good...
