I'd like to start by dedicating my first blog to lilsusie. She has put a lot of effort into the merchandise sales (and will continue to do so). I feel really bad how people kept harassing her and stuff in the original swag thread the past few months. Anyways, thanks again Susie - we all appreciate what you are doing!
I'm going to share two cool things I've done to pimp out my SC setup. They aren't that big of a deal (but I think they are pretty neat), so don't get your hopes up...
1. Custom keyboard

I bought a $10 keyboard at my campus bookstore and spray-painted it (Jangbi style, of course). As you can see, all the unnecessary keys for Starcraft have been removed. I printed out pics of SC2 Zergling and Hydralisk and cut them up to paste on keys on the right side (the hydra looks bad because I spilled Dr. Pepper on it a few weeks ago). All of this was really easy to do and only took a few hours. (Yeah, the paint is wearing off on the a,s,d,z keys - I'm a Zerg user after all)
2. Custom mousepad

Make a "large mousepad" (this is the standard size for a mousepad - see my LMO in the pic for comparison) and be sure to follow directions regarding supported picture resolutions (you'll be able to preview + resize/crop online).

lol ... don't get me wrong - I don't think my stuff is "high quality". Yes, it is quite ghetto and sorta ugly (partially because I didn't apply a coat of primer before the coat of paint).
Only true pros know how to use coupon codes.

I have one of those battered down keyboards with keys missing, just not the right ones XD (and mainly duo to beeing old :3)

Lol, the keyboard looks kinda dirty/half-assed but I like the idea. Keep adding to and tweaking it and show us your progress.
The mousepad is pretty cool, thanks for the tips on how to make them.

Yes, sorry, that's what I should have said. The idea is cool (I would do it do if I used a comp) but it needs more work. It's very messy and sloppy at the moment and some things (personally) I would do without but if you like it then that's how you should keep it.

I like the white/black concept on the keyboard, really looks cool along with the other text and colors (not on keys). I think if you keep it to a black/white pattern with the starcraft/haxorz/zerg on it, it should look pretty nice

My advice, salvage that keyboard by taking the words "HAXORZ" and "ZERG" and cut out all the letters, and use it as a template to spray paint the keyboard instead of taping/gluing a piece of paper. it will look much cleaner, and is a better keyboard hack than cutting and pasting paper. you already have the spray paint from all the keys anyway.
for next time buy two keyboards of different colors to get the Jangbi look. that way your hotkeys stay nice and clean. Two tone is a good idea, just gotta execute it better.
Also, maybe its just me, but i would have put the hydra/zerg pictures on the mousepad itself rather than cut up and turned into a puzzle piece.

This whole setup looks really awesome, and I think it's great that you took the time to show us (especially that seemingly awesome deal with the mousepad!).
A few questions however.
1) where'd you get that LMO?
2) can you vouch for the quality of the mousepad? have you ever tried a razer/steelseries mousepad?

1) I got it from Newegg a few months ago for $10. Newegg, Amazon, and Target.com (yeah, Target, lol) sporadically have it for $10ish.
2) I do have a Steelseries medium pad (http://www.amazon.com/SteelSeries-QcK-Mouse-Pad-Black/dp/B000UYANGM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1262937211&sr=8-1). My custom one obviously isn't as good; it's what you would expect from a regular-plain-old cloth pad. A custom mousepad for $3 shipped is actually a good deal - most places charge $4-$8.
