My fingers, especially my left pinky get soo hot that it gets painful some time later.
Anyone else have this trouble, and any suggestions? (other than obvious ones.)

I have an laptop stand for my laptop, and i have an additional keyboard. The protoss judicator would say you need additional keyboards! warp in more keyboards!

Hey, you can undervolt the CPU of your laptop (if compatible), this greatly reduces the heat it generates, without losing any performance. A guide to doing so is available here: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=235824 Another option is to prop your laptop up a bit, to increase the airflow underneath it. What kind of laptop do you have? Good luck!

* Get a laptop that doesnt get extremely hot (e.g. not super thin) * Dont do stuff that makes it go extremely hot (e.g. playing HD movies or playing games) * Be sure that the fans get airflow (e.g. having the laptop on a table is much better than a pillow because the pillow can change form and cover the air holes. and a laptop stand with separate keyboard is even better) * Undervolt if possible. It can be hard, but you dont compromise on performance, you have the same gigahertz but you lower the voltage -> cooler and longer battery life

Or you can just underclock your CPU and GPU, sacrificing performance for massively lower temperatures.

It's overheating because I'm playing HoN for some hours (at least leaving it on) at full settings, and I don't have an external keyboard. I think I'll invest in a cooler. Laptop is quite new so I don't think it's any fan issue.
