Ah shit man. Tattoos that take a few sessions always look like crap initially but it's awesome to see it develop. I'm close to done with my half sleeve though I eventually plan on doing the whole arm. Can't wait to finish it then I'mma start posting some pics up. I love ink.

Nipples pierced = worst pain than any tats ive had yet, If my mom and sister had not pierced them at the same time I would never have got the other done after feeling the first one. haha.

I used to shave my pits rather I wpould trim the hair but I am lazy/ out of time always kids + wife + work + bw + balloons + magic no time for shaving the pits.

I actually need an artist for a concept of mine blending magic and sc ( i know, and i still say screw what you all think ^_^) Im hoping to have a toss guy at a desk practicing magic with a few magic props on the table. Still trying to get a solid picture in my head so I can rough sketch it for someone much better artistically than me. But this piece just spoke to me I am very against getting Flash art or wall art (in Tat shop)

I might have time to do a very ambitious thing like this cause of Christmas, although I'm like 3 projects behind..I'll try. My first thought is a Protoss posed behind a desk, one hand high in the air, with a..flow of playing cards rising from the table to his hand, with the other hand tilting his magicians hat upwards, slightly revealing a rabbit sitting on his head.
Basically it all depends on how flashy/funky you'd let it be. I'll PM you in 2 days to let you know if any progress has been made, and if any is made I'll show you a sketch before rendering starts.

I'm surprised you think your nipple piercing hurt more than tattoos, Fuddx. But I guess it depends where you have your ink. I thought my rib piece hurt a ton but when I got my inner arm (below the arm pit to above the elbow), now that was fucking painful.
I need some ideas too for the filler on my sleeve. Not sure what direction to go in. =[

is the middle of your arm basically gonna be all shaded in dark? looks pretty sweet
my cousins supposedly giving me sketches for my new one tomorrow. i want to get something to commemorate me running the bulls this summer. it was gonna the city emblem for pamplona, cobble stone and a few bulls. its gonna be shoulder to about tshirt sleeve length on the arm

Yea but we are making the darker part a little smaller and possibly add a little to the darker areas.

all black like this or shaded? either way, that contract between the light and dark is gonna look sick when its finished

No not totally black but it will be very dark.Some of the cooler colors from the top and some of the hotter colors from the bottom will be mixed in depending on how close to the top or bottom.

Yea most of my work has not been on the more sensitive areas, ribs,armpits, etc.
My shins/leg and my back were not bad at all. Neither was any of my arm work thus far.
and just to add something to look at I cleaned my desk hahah.
And ShaperofDreams thats really cool of you. If you do have the time and willingness Id love you for ever.

color ink fadees a lot faster than normal, correct? im thinking of maybe getting a tiny bit in my new one, but i am not sure. a lot of people with old color tats look like shit. basic ones tend to look ok after aging, even without touch ups

When you get some free time, should post a blog with all your tattoos and the story and meaning behind it. I love seeing the progression and stories behind other people's ink. I plan on doing something similar with mine. If only I had more money and wasn't in uni, I'd have so much more work done.

That would be fun to do that DKnight.
So yesterday i got to the shop had some food and hung out for a little. Around 2:30 we sat down and did some of the leaves from the tree down just below my elbow, that lasted until about 3:50 pm. He had an appointment for 5 and I was going to come back and get started about 600-6:30.
I got back and we started around 6pm drew on some markers/ refrence points and the bloodlined it all ( with water just to raise the skin, allowing him to see where to put shading without laying down outlines) After we finished bloodlining the shop got slammed. I had to wait a little. Around 8pm we sat back down and really started working (it sucked to work and re work something a few hours later T_T) We took 3 breaks (i needed a cig eatch time) and got alot of the color and stuff done down at my wrist to just below the elbow.still needs more highlights etc but we had to stop at 3am( We booth were starting to fade).
Was fun,painful, and I can not wait to get more.its super tender today, does not help my dad likes to squeeze arms (affectionitly) it still fricking hurts though haha.Can not wait to see this completed.Will post pics when I get home probally tommorow.

Not really sure on this. I do know though that alot of the older colors are not that great, brightness, lasting time etc. Ive seen some pretty sick color work that looks good, and is a few years old. Most of the old school tats I see are not exampkes of great work to begin with. Parents are out and about Ill see what my dad has to say on colors/inks.
