Yeah, I'm going Pokebunny style for season 11 of ICCup. I've never actually laddered before, so I'm wondering how it will go. Does anyone have some tips? Should I cheese a lot? What should I watch out for? etc. I'm going to just play more than I usually do (aka more than what, 20 games a season?) and never reset and keep going.

How far do you think I'll get :D?

4 pool almost always works at D
ling/hydra all in almost always works at D+

Then it's harder to win games under 10 minutes

if you want to go up ranks fast, cheese a lot and just practice that. If you want to improve, practice your anti-cheese by playing iccup. Don't assume they fast expanded, check spots behind the natural and around it. Check common proxy spots, you can never be too safe against cheese.

Oh, and sneak expansions in tvz if you're behind. Or play a bunch of TvZ. I swear, if you have some decent tvz late game, all you need to do is get there and you basically autowin.

Well, seeing as you used to beat me pretty consistently (albeit in my weakest matchup), I think you can at least make C-. Probably C if you play as much as you say you will.

Get on iccup right now and I'll play a few to start you off. I'm sure it'll be better for both of us than laddering against B- Koreans.

depends on how much you cheese.

with your usual style (aka cheese every game) = C
without cheese, standard game play = C-

If you're really good at cheese, you can make it pretty far. My friend got to b- by 5pool only (he's a b/b+ zerg though)

pokebunny style is not a style u want to go for. I'd recommend going smi.lols style personally.

are you going to play "pokebunny" style in order to improve? or you're just playing a huge amount of games for fun/to see how high you rank?
if it's to improve, follow unSpeake's advice and play straight up every game, working on the deficient aspects of your gameplay as you go along. i think you're around c- right now? if you play a lot this season and work hard you can probably get up to c level, if not c+
if you just proxy gate/dt rush every game your games will be faster and you'll probably get a lot of lucky wins, but depending on how common your cheese is you'll start failing miserably at higher levels.
