So my teacher announced that me and 9 other players of my hockey team are going to be part of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic torch relay. I don't know how to feel because I'm happy, but at the same time, I feel like the weight of the world is going to be on my back since the torch is arguably a symbol of world peace. Either way, I'm thrilled to be part of something I'll never experience again!
I was actually thinking of wearing something Starcraft/Team Liquid related while doing this but I unfortunately don't have any clothing Starcraft/Team Liquid related sorry  .
I will be part of this relay on Dececember 17th, 2009, and if anything, even though I'm not a big name in the Starcraft community, I hope I can represent us in one way or another!

The thing is, I've been told I'm going to hold it for roughly 55 feet (half a football field?) but I also think if I do, they're going to give me something to wear (like one of those track suits). I'm unsure at the moment, I'm going to have to get my teacher to clarify things for me.

You seriously need to trip. Just straight up stumble, fall, and drop the torch. You'd be famous (at least on the internet). Also, make sure someone gets footage of you doing it. Just be like, "Hey, can you film me while I have the torch in my hand?" Then trip. Hilarity ensues.

I think people in the world are divided into two categories, and the characteristics of the two groups of people are best defined when presented the option to do the above - some people choose to do it and some not. I would totally do it. I assume you would too. Fuck yea.
