Where in Berlin are you located?
My team is keeping the Europe Music Awards website updated with the latest content. On the night of the event (Thursday, November 5), we will be streaming the show on the website and on facebook fan pages. ^_^
The weather does suck right now =[. It was raining today. Hopefully it won't be raining everyday this week.

I'm living in Northern Berlin, not so far from the airport (Tegel) working on my thesis. Still, I am within 20 minutes of Zoo, Alex and Hauptbahnhof, so it is actually not that far from the center.
Sounds like a cool job being at the VMA's. I hope you are still getting to do some sightseeing here although the weather is really bad. Any parties or events that are recommendedor something like that? Or will you will be working most of the time? Seems like you were already able to see a little bit of Berlin; hope you have a bit more time to see other sights as well.
Any plans besides watching the VMA's?

yo, welcome to Berlin!
But come on, it was snowing partially! I freaking love snow. It wasnt gonna last but whatever. I'd recommend going to Görlitzer Bahnhof (its an undergroud station of line 1) and roam around a bit trough the park and in direction to Warschauer Straße (near East Side Gallery, where you've already been). And take like the first street right after you're over the bridge and roam around again through the little street - if you have time for the so called alternative-culture of Berlin. Lot's of bars and restaurants and stuff. Also a quite enjoyable partying hotspot
