Even though it used to snow a lot on a regular basis in Slovenia (meaning it potentially stacked up to a meter in height), in recent times we are lucky if it snows at all.Global warming should go and die in a ditch somewhere. | ||

I think the number for Calgary and surrounding area is ~200. Snow in December or January is fine, I like snow then, but in OCTOBER? Snow is retarded in Calgary because it snows in october and then refuses to snowduring christmas. | ||

I absolutely hate the snow, in Niagara Falls here we have snow usually from late October to March or April [at least last year]. Every one gets a cold, my school lectures are a symphony of sneezes, whistling noses and snorts as people refuse to a use a tissue for some reason. Accidents accumulate on the roads, slowing traffic, meaning more time in the car and spending more time getting ready to go because you have to clean off the car before you can get rolling! Jealous? This guy has my sympathy. | ||

In Moscow its still around +10C during the day and +2-5C at night, not even close to snowing anywhere in the next few weeks. There are even some broadleaf trees which are still green. | ||
