so i was just curious to know if anyone in the BW community goes to York Univeristy in Toronto, Canada  !Ive seen some starcraft/dota related stuff all around but somehow never saw the people behind it haha i know NrG.Kye goes here, and myself, but i was just curious if anyone knew any more BW players from York! I usually float between D+/C- late in the season when I actually get the time to play games. If we can find higher rank players we can even sign up for CSL next season if they hold one. | ||

1) We'll be starting a Starcraft club at York. Oedi will be writing the constitution with my assistance and others who would like to help out. jon arbuckle will edit for the final copy and will also help out filling out the registration forms to start the club. Though it requires at least 15 currently registered York students we have close enough members and we will have no problems getting more names. We will decide on the positions after we figure out which positions we need and their responsibilities. 2) iG.Aura and persueS are living in rez at York so they will be available all week and jon arbuckle lives at a walking distance. I have class every day so if anyone wants to meet up just give me a message. Everyone else, please send me your schedules so I can figure out which day and times most of us will be available to meet up. As of now, Thursdays @1pm will be our tentative gathering. 3) Gaming and practicing wise we can play on ICCUP and go to channel "York". I believe iG.Aura is our highest and most experience player and he is willing to help everyone (he claims he'll be able to improve your rank by a letter ;D). So far it seems da_head is willing to be the captain for our CSL team but nothing has been discussed about CSL yet. ) aka intial h.c., we've decided to create a new blog topic as its easier to make updates on the initial post. we will be using a shared account called: SC_York(if this is against the rules in any way, we apologize) we need to wait 3 days until we can start creating blogs with it. so for now, we will continue using this thread. please try to check this blog regularly as it is a hassle to pm each of you every single time something comes up. hopefully we find a more efficient system in the future~ now on to administrative issues. we're currently in the process of creating the club forms of which we require 15 members. i think we're close or at the number. if not, i can grab a few of my korean friends to sign . As for the organization of the club, it goes as follows:Coach/President: Initial H.C./Herman Captain/Vice President: Da_head/Sherwin Ace/Recruiter: iG.Aura/Antoni The function of these roles will be elaborated on in the future. If there are any problems with the appointed leadership, please feel free to address any concerns during club meetings. As for the remaining roles, please express your interest in it. If no one else wishes to get the position, you will be granted it. However, if it is contested, then a vote will be put in order, with the ultimate decision left up to us. As for what the remaining roles will be (such as treasurer, csl supervisor, etc), will be worked out in the future. As it stands, we're meeting on thurs at 1, but Coach will try to find an early convenient date for us all. | ||

on another note, we're playing nightly on iccup channel york. so feel free to join us to play or obs. once i get the other blog going, ppl can say if they're on or not. (though msn is more efficient). our first goal right now is to become familiar with the csl map pool. | ||

We have a ton of Zergs right now and a couple of Protoss. We have quite a lack of Terrans but I believe myself, iG.Aura, and Tensai176 can help out with the PvT and ZvT. We still have quite some time before the next CSL so we can get familiar with the maps and help each other out on our weaknesses in time. Feel free to message each other to play on iccup =) | ||

We have a decent amount of players on Tuesday and Friday but Monday seems to be a little rushed. This week we will meet at Thursday at 1pm @ Tim Horton's inside William Small Center but we would most likely move to another place. (Anyone have any suggestions of an area that we could just meet without moving?) We'll be completing the final copy of the registration form for our club and go over the constitution as well as discussing the possible times to meet. After we finish with all the administrative duties we can finally play some games. =b | ||
