Hey TeamLiquid,
Team mG., or Mannered Gaming is looking for new members. We currently have a ton of people who frequent TeamLiquid on our roster, so I hope it's acceptable to post this here... Our team is primarily made up of North American members, and therefore most active during evenings of those timezones (mostly EST/EDT, or GMT-5, but some CST/PST as well). European/Asian members are also welcome, but please try and be active during our team's active times. We are looking for members who can be very active, skilled (season 9-10 rank C or above skill level required (not necessarily the actual rank, we just require around this skill level)), and mannered in their gaming. If you aren't at the required skill level, you are welcome to hang out with us and play until you're good enough - if we like you, we might invite you anyways. We currently participate in BWCL and finished 3rd in div 4e last season (sadly not enough to move up.) We're working on getting into ICCCL and other opportunities for leagues. We also try and schedule clan wars during the weekend as well through ICCup. Our roster last season included a couple B/B- players, and many C/C+ players. We also play some 2v2, a few of our members have reached C in 2v2 but we are not primarily a 2v2 team. 2v2 players and their partners are welcome to try and join to help us in clan wars.
We mostly communicate through ICCup team page and ICCup server, but we do have a website at gosu.enjin.com . (we are working on getting a better site). If you would like to join, fill out the small application form in the Applications forum on our site. The more effort you put, the more likely you are to be accepted. Then, visit op mG. @ ICCup, or message mG.yenta (yenta @ TL), mG.SpriteLove (SpriteLove @ TL) or myself and we will try you out. The tryout will probably just be 2-4 games to determine your general skill level in a couple matchups. We already have many strong Zerg players in the team, so we are looking to improve our other races for the most part to have a well-balanced roster. I'd be willing to show up for clan wars, it's just that my main ally (since I'm 2v2 player) may not be amenable to being in a clan, so maybe I'd need a partner within the clan if you do accept my application (just posted it on your website). But he's my bitch so I think he'd be willing to come with me and play 2v2 on your team if you'll have us.

I never really tryed to ladder so i can't say what my real rank is. I'm pretty sure its not C however . I've never found massing game vs random people very fun. I have always liked to join a clan and inhouse mostly. Still my clan like just died. So I am highly interested even if I may have to get my skills up first.

we have had many discussions regarding nick's rank. sure, he's reached c+ before but he hit 5001 with 128-207 stats. can he really call himself a "c+ player" when you can't win at that rank and had that kind of record to get there? it's his "max rank," not his true rank. that's how i see it. good work though nick, i didn't know you hit c+. maybe you are just bad now instead of terrible! haha i
mg. is a bunch of chill dudes. i encourage everyone to check it out.

Hmm, I might check this team out. My high on iCCup was C+ last season (although I didn't play any games at C+ rank, but I feel that if I had kept playing I could have kept going because plenty of the people I beat seemed to had hit C+ before, but that could just be faulty logic :p). I was playing a lot then and I haven't played as much lately due to school and stuff, but I think joining an actual team would get me back in the game again haha.
I'll come to your channel sometime, I use OnlyInDreams on iCCup (although lately I've been using ASL-Shox). Also I play Protoss.

Hey, not sure if anyone remembers me, but I was in Sal, SeeD, and DiSSo. I took a long break to expand my RTS horizons a bit, but I'd really like to get back into SC.
I'm hella rusty, but I'd like to play with you guys again, it was a lot of fun.

Sal pretty much turned into mG and then got stricter the last couple seasons, but anyone's welcome to hang out :D if yesterday is any indication, more people from TL were in our channel than op irc.
Not gonna take sides but again I think both sides of OneOther/NoobsofWrath were perfectly reasonable and neither reaaaally stepped out of line. :/
