Linux / OO / anything open source 4tw! One of my close friends bought Windows Vista and let's just say we don't talk much anymore. It's almost disgusting someone can give in to the corporate suits like that even when you know it suxors. You know what he said? "Vista ain't that bad." .....

Greatest thing (only thing) Word 2007 got right. The merge comments, compare docs and other stuff to do with red line changes are all very helpful / much improved in 2007 (even though it still screws up some things). Very useful when many people work on the same doc - happens a lot in any office.

More than that, until Win7 comes out, I will be among the few to say that Vista is one of the best operating systems Microsoft has ever released. I love Vista. :3

Actually, the latest test show that the only thing latest MS Office (the whole packet, not just one part of it) has better than OOo is Excel. That is of course, if you know how to use it (and the truth is that 90% of the people using MSO/OOo/SO or any other office suite out there are not even using 10% of its capabilities). Seriously, when I saw some sample files made in MSO to open them with OOo (yup, it can open .docx files) and see how it handles them I couldn't believe people are doing such things. 2 page text document weighted 3,5MB, you would not believe what you can do with all this shit if you know how (as if you would need it).
