Got up early, 8ish, (after getting to bed on the floor at around 3am lol) PUMPED UP and ready for some epic games.
So my roomies for that night , (KawaiiRice xeris inka luckyfool) and most of the EG headed out towards the convention center. Many of the gamers where discussing strategies on how to beat various people, or just plays in general. About 35 mins later we managed to get to the convention center, only to find out players could not enter at 12:30 like they had been told, instead they would have to wait till 1, and get in the long ass line. So none of the sc guys wanted to move so we kinda just sat there, and got badgered for being to close to the entrance, so we moved to the wall, which was a fire Hazard or something, so we then moved to the middle. Regardless about about 15 mins of waiting for the line to poor into the center (o fuck, that's right its an anime convention or something so every narito fan boy and his mother is there dressed up), we managed to get in.
btw xeris is just a player or something, he just waltzed right in no badge nothing. (like an hour before they let anyone in)
Meet Psyonic_Reaver, pretty wacky guy but cool too. Gave his MBC hoodie to inka to use for the tournament, cause well it was damn cold in there, not to mention Inka wasn't feeling to good.
Got some food and the games began, Watched kawaiirice vs lz first, loved the second game on colo.
Besides idra being predictable and going 3-0
Louder was on fire, 2-1 vs nyoken and 2-1 vs incontrol too.
and then losing his last set due to bbs from idra 
Lzgamer won a hard fought game against his team mate inka on blue storm, must have been close to the hour mark, nearly everywhere mined out.
Artosis, seemed to be the person everyone wanted to cheese, seemed like every match set he played it happened (least no dts though  )
The EG guys are all very chill, had some nice chats with them, and a few of them remember me from the streams or random posts on TL, which is pretty cool.
After the games finished, we went to the main street to call some cabs for us, uNcontroLable did an excellent job hailing the cabs for us.
Once we got back, Luckyfool and I tried to go eat out with EG, but WC8 and his editor had some problems with that and so we went back to the hotel to get my car and drive back to the hotel we meant to stay at the first night (lol) Ended up finding my wallet squished in between the seat railing and the center arm rest. (thank god, helps to actually have time and light to look for something)
Wake up time is early, games start at 10:30 (lol good luck with that)

looks like an amazing event. And lol idrA cheesing like crazy in day 1, i guess nobody was expecting that from him (too bad, i wanted to see what builds they had prepared for idrA)... i predict G5 and idrA for top 2.

is it worth it to ride to NY for 6 hrs to ob some games? Will they even let us ob actual games while they played? What else is there to do besides obing? How long did it take to play all those on day 1? Whos really cool?( besides kawaii)

Well i'll be taking pics today, but idk if i'll be able to sync them up to my comp this weekend.
as for builds well, lol nothing seems to have dented him yet.

really cool? lol well all of them lol, I just haven't had the chance to talk much with Idra, besides him everyone is very chill. maybe I'll talk more about specific people for my next blog tonight.
Day one ended around 6:30 or so (still light out side)
3 hour ride up, 1 hour to pick people up.
2 hours getting lost in NYC.
watching some epic games?

(at least not this year, dunno about previous years)
You can pretty much pick a player and watch his games, or pick two players and bounce back and forth. It was cool. Would have liked to see starcraft on the big screen more though! And they need to set up booths so we could do live games on the big screen.
Finals tomorrow, Louder vs Idra. Bright and early, 10:30am.
