I have been thinking about trying shrooms with a small group of tuested friends, and am wondering what it's like the first time, and if there are any bad side effects? Do you guys suggest that I do it, or don't do it?

I'm suggesting that you have ample time to do them and a safe place. I think more than anything those two are the ones that can lead to the biggest problems.

Yes, I would say try shrooms.

Try them only if you are emotionally stable. They can be a lot of fun, but you can also have a really bad time if you arent in a good state of mind. There is also a possibility of puking, but the vast majority of times I did shrooms, I didnt puke.

I would say this sounds close to accurate... but not quite on.

Maybe not comfortable with yourself so much as comfortable with your situation?

But I guess maybe that is semantics, it could be said that your situation is part of who you are?

I encourage anybody who has the curiosity for the psychedelic experience to try it. You've already taken the right steps by carefully considering your decision, and doing it with a small group of trusted friends.

Doing it in the right setting is also key. Somewhere you and your friends will be mostly alone is the only right way (tripping in public places causes far more adverse reactions). Even if you're worried about somebody's parents/roommates/lover coming home and being a buzzkill, it can taint the experience.

As far as having a 'bad trip' goes, it's still a valuable experience. In fact, many psychedelic users find that the bad trips, with their introspection or even self-loathing, are the most valuable as it can be very clear to you what lifestyle changes you need to make.

All in all, I have to say if you want to, then go for it. There's no permanent or physical reprecussions.

one time my friend was trippin balls on shrooms and freakin out in our car. First we couldn't get him out of the car and he starting throw papers and shit around in the car. And he took his shoes off and wouldn't put them back on. So eventually we got him out of the car and we realized that he was being way too crazy and maybe we should put him back in there. He wouldn't get back in LOL

So yea he was being generally crazy and annoying and freaking out and he eventually threw up I think. Later on when everyone was headed some stupid freinds dropped him off on the corner when they were tired of baby sitting him. Kinda fucked up but he's ok and thinks the whole thing was funny on hindsight.

Be careful where you do them at because some people go fucking nuts lol, the last thing you want is the chance you attract the cops with your shenanigans. Oh and have a baby sitter too if it's your first time you never know what might happen.

While shroom's aren't exactly a dangerous trip, i'd recommend having someone with you that isn't eating them.

you know acid or shrooms are better in open. Do it on a park outside town for your first time.
