You're probably aware that Korean males have to serve for 2 years in the regular military, unless they do something else that will serve instead. Such as working a government clerical post for 2.5 years, or going for a doctorate degree in certain schools, or being a national representative at the Olympics or World Cup. | ||

Then the chinese guy (who obviously thought he was the shit) kept barking at her in chinese non stop and she just kept telling him to go back out there and fill out the paper. Obv he didnt understand and he just kept shouting in chinese until he finally gave in and went back. The immigration lady seemed pretty pissed...so I walked up looked at her, looked back at the chinese fucker and said 그남자왜그래? 바보 같애 then she laughed said 와 한국말잘하네 and insta stamped my shit. | ||

It's a good time because you get to meet a bunch of celebrities if you work at the airport or a lot of interesting people if you work at the border. The pay isn't amazing but it's a much better job than retail/calling centres/other crap. | ||

Also, immigration law in Korea is pretty fucked up. I heard it's improved a lot since a couple of years ago but I personally have had a lot of stress purely from inconsistent immigration officials. | ||
