So i was talking to one of my friends george (named changed for privacy), and he told me that yesterday he was talking to this korean kid at my school, and mentioned that he also plays starcraft.
Curious i was, i asked george if he plays iccup and he says yes that koraen also plays iccup. He estimated his iccup rank to be about C-, and claimed that he said he'll kick my ass in SC anyday w/o hassle.
Now i'm really interested in meeting this guy, and raping him 3-0 on iccup... damn arrogant koreans. I think i'll even offer him the option to pick what matchup he wants to play...

LOL I had a korean at my school who played starcraft, I lost to him it was funny because the first game I was like oh I know how i can beat him. Then we play again and all the holes I he had in his play that I thought I could take advantage of were gone, after about 5 games I realized that he's getting better and better each game and he's reading into me more than I was able to read into him. Freaking Koreans. I also was playing WoW instead of Starcraft doing that period SO NO SHAME FOR ME

That having been said, I also represent the best of the foreigners at a school where nobody plays SC except for me and this Korean, and one other guy who likes dropships. I went 8-0 in a crappy tournament with just 3 hatch muta (no ZvZ) where said Korean was not attending, and the Korean also said he would kick my ass. I'm waiting for the dropship lover to set up our showmatch.

TvZ= Mid-B if on a good day
TvT=Low C+ but i lose to noobs if they do something aggressive early game.

From what I've seen, the majority of Koreans have really really in-depth theoretical/strategic knowledge of the game, but, like any other player, simply have trouble applying it.
I dunno. The majority of the ones on my team skirt around somewhere in the C range...
This is out of a sample size of like ten or so, though, so...haha.

not really... i saw a korean vs. korean match at my old high school (it was over 10% korean) and one of them went double creep colonies before spawning pool. even when i ask the 1/2 decent players they still don't really know real strategy. like when i asked them how to play pvz nobody said forge FE.
