Today I was playing a PvP against some guy on Iccup, when in the middle of the game my monitor decides to go wacko on me. It's kinda hard to describe, but essentially the colors were a little static-y and I was seeing faint double-images of everything, which startled me haha..
After I exited out of BW, the problem persisted, although not as bad as it was in game.
Here is a picture of my desktop, I think it looks normal for everyone else. What I see is basically there is a faint image of all text to the left of it about 1/4 of the screen away. The window below firefox has a screwy, grainy orange color on where it should be grey, and the left and right is generally just grainy and variations of the colors already on the desktop.
Anyone know what could be the problem? I tried unplugging the monitor from my PC, but the problem persisted when it was showing that no signal screen. The monitor itself is kinda oldish I guess, from around 2000, and I only recall dropping it once.

Sounds like your monitor is dead and there's nothing you can do about it. 9 years is a long time.
On a side note you have been reported to the FBI for having uTorrent and agents will be arriving at your house shortly.

1. uTorrent isn't illegal.
2. It sounds to me like your monitor is toast, but try another monitor with your computer just to be sure. Not to worry, decent quality, decent size monitors aren't very expensive right now, so if you do have to buy a new one, you're not in a horrible situation. I just realized that you're in Korea, and I don't know how cheap monitors are there.
Also, if your video card/video adapter has more than one connection, like 2 DVI, or 1 DVI and 1 VGA, try the other one, and see if the problem goes away. You could also try the usual download newest video card drivers, but it sounds like this is definitely a problem with your monitor.

Well shit happens, your monitor served well for a long time anyway. You can get a new one for under 200 bucks, so it's not the end of the world.

most likely I'll be having to get a new one, this one has been good while it lasted.. and I'm using a shitty integrated graphics card so I don't have the luxury of multiple connections D: lol
