Apparently she's a world class fiddle player and no one in our class knew it.
Here's some clips of her playing in a concert in Mexico... yes I know these are not clips of Steve Vai.

although i do have a certain dislike of her performance mannerisms all the extra swooning comes off as being artistically dishonest although the worst perpetrator of this is Andre Rieu...urgh that mountebank makes me sick and among the pianists, the award probably goes to lang lang for your enjoyment -> (admittedly, his technique is top notch)

Conceptual Physics by Hewitt? I always thought most high school non calculus based physics courses used the Serway and Faughn text. I think).

All that matters is the quality of sound produced. Take Richter, someone who got into the habit of playing on dimly lit stages so that the audience would focus on the music rather than any extraneous physical movements, and one could hardly contest that he was one of the greatest musicians of his time.

To a heterosexual guy I am most definitely not as hot as the teacher in the OP.

It's the kind of thing you hear from musicians playing outside of Disneyland trying to sell their latest album...with a target audience middle-aged women...

It was basically a class that got rid of the preconcieved notions that a lot of high school freshmen have about the subject like centrifugal force, independent horizontal and vertical vectors for motion, Newton's third law, etc. Also there were very basic labs. I love physics though... my AP teacher was one of the best in the nation (based on what scores his students got.) In his first lab, he gave us the wrong equation for the acceleration of a ball rolling down a ramp, and when we all plotted a bajillion data points and got a clear slope that didn't match the equation, we all assumed we had done the experiment wrong. He started yelling at us that if we all got this result, of COURSE it means that the equation he gave us was wrong. It totally changed our concept of what a physics lab was supposed to be like I think everyone in my class got a 5 that year.

Schools are starting to implement a 'physics first' initiative where schools administer physics to high school students before the typical bio, chem, etc. Of course, a more advanced course in physics could follow chemistry.
