So with summer rapidly approaching it's time for that event again. This time it's different as in I'm out of highschool and going into university for the first time.
Needless to say this is an experience of a lifetime! However, I am relatively shaken about what I will be facing so here is a rundown:
1. No more parents! No more teachers! Teachers don't give a damn about you anymore! You don't care what teachers' opinion towards you! This sudden rush of freedom is what slays many 1st years into failing. I am not really sure if I will be slain by that fierce dragon.
2. I'm going to Queen's University Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering. One thing is all the froshies in this faculty have to climb a pole laced with grease in a mudhole! The pole is certainly a daunting task! Apparently we do weirder stuff later on...
3. I live near Vancouver BC in a place called Richmond. Richmond is known as Colony of China due to the Chinese population. What I will miss is the food mom cooks for me. As some of you know genuine Chinese Cuisine is among the world's finest. I never really had much "western food" in my life.... So I will miss mom's delicious cooking the most. Strange isn't it *tear*
4. Well I don't really have faith in my housekeeping skills. My room is dirty always etc (lol) I will be living on residence with a roommate so I don't know how that will work out.
With all that said, moving to University is truly an experience of a lifetime and I'm super hyped for it! If anyone can offer me any tips in studying or just general University life please post them I thank you!!! I'm packing like a madman right now and shopping for everything I need to bring. Wish me luck TL!
Sidenote I bought a T shirt from thehandsomenerd (Tasteless' clothing store :D) and I'm enjoying it!
I will add more pics later when I feel like posing.
