This is an ongoing discussion we are having. We'll probably use the same convention for Dota und Starcraft.

Yes and the discussion is leaning towards going with the mirrored cross table which we could just call it actually.

(Some of the things I think most of us agreed with is if it's not mirrored it shouldn't have win/lose colours. But since we seem to be congregating towards going with mirrored we'll just try to make that as clear as possible to make it easy to read/use.)

I don't know how to modify this, but there is a mistake on the EVO 2014 team Liquid Smash Bros quarter bracket Wiki page:
http://wiki.teamliquid.net/smash/EVO_2014/Quarters_Brackets
It's in the Losers Bracket Ro32 - Ro12, on the Losers Round 6:

Amsa is showed as having entered the Loser bracket on Round 6 six while S2J is showed as he come from a previous Loser Round. It's the opposite. Amsa had entered the Loser Bracket early on and it's S2J who entered in the Loser Bracket in stage 6.

EDIT: It has been fixed. Thanks.

On the http://wiki.teamliquid.net/ page clicking in the middle of the Dota 2 icon redirects to the SC2 wiki. The area is pretty small: from the middle of the "o" to just to the right of the "2"and only a few dozen pixels tall.

We had this issue some time ago. Which browser are you using?

The information boxes on item pages in dota liquipedia seem to have been enlarged making them odd to read.

The marked box was expanded wider, making the infotexts go to a single line and not looking smooth. The box was half the width of that before. It's not a huge issue, just something that caught my eye. Don't know if it's browser spesific, though it's the same on safari and chrome.

Ok, I fixed the problem. The change may not be visible immediately because of the server cache. I also recommend you to clear your browser's cache, with ⌘-R for Safari, ⌘-Shift-R on Chrome for Mac.

It should be good within the next 24 hours.
Thanks for the heads up!

Hey guys, hopefully Im posting this in the right place.

In TLPD BW there is a mistake in this game:
http://www.teamliquid.net/tlpd/korean/games/33304_FireFist_vs_GuemChi/main

The page states that the map is Destination when it is in fact Jade

Thanks!

I was considering this the other day when the GSL groups were done : what about having player's team logo in Liquipedia's group tables? I think it would allow you to have a broader vision of the group, as in you wouldn't have to click on the player's name or scroll up the page to figure out his team, and most of all it would allow to picture potential team rivalries/team kills more easily. I'd like to think I know rather well the Starcraft scene, but sometimes I tend to forget or mix up player's team affiliation, especially when they're less known. I imagine i'm not the only one in this case, and it would help people who don't follow the scene as much. Also, for past results, it would alllow you to know which team a player was in at that time. Like : "oh Parting was in ST during this GSL".

The only downside I see is readability since there is already 2 logos : the player's country and its race. Especially for playoffs tables which are smaller (even with race colors).

Here are some editing I quickly did to see what this could look like.
Group stage : http://imgur.com/e7oagb1 (At the time I edited this, TRUE was still in Jin Air)
Playoffs : http://imgur.com/8aXPDyT
Anyway, this is just a suggestion. Tell me what you think.

Hi, this is me.

I agree that in certain cases, having the ability to see in one look who was playing for which team and who advanced is a nice feature. Nonetheless, I really think the tables and brackets are looking busy with the team logos.

The other downsides I see, from a Liquipedia contributor/editor standpoint, are:
- This makes the editing more complicated, there is now one more information to enter, and since these are team names that are as long or even longer than player names, that almost doubles the time of editing for each table/bracket.
- What about group tables/brackets for old tournaments? Do we update every tournament?
- And as this is something I see often, some people will copy-paste the group tables or brackets from huge tournaments like GSL where this feature is relevant, and use it for their small tournament, where only two or three teams have a logo on LP, and where this feature is probably not useful.

EDIT: a solution to make the tables less busy would be to allow the team logos to be hidden with a toggle button, but maybe that makes the feature unintuitive/too complicated.
LiquipediaBoy, these pretzels are makin' me thirsty.

I think it makes the tables and bracket too heavy. The information is on the page, and it's not like you have to scroll all the time to know in which team is each player
and I'm not a pro, but what about the loading of the page?
