You know, something I've always wanted to see (though it may be costly) would be like a small motif on the bottom corner of the front that continued to the back. Dunno how feasible that is, though

....like a half border, of sorts.

I'm not sure why the rules state the final file has to be a vector. Can a raster image with sufficiently high DPI be substituted?

It has to be a vector in order for the printing machines to print it.

It has to be a vector because TL is planning on blowing it up to put onto the private jet they bought for blizzcon.

My idea of a tl. tshirt is something that put together past and future.
The past coul be seen for example in the logo and the future will be for sure sc2.
So for example a image cartoon like rappresenting a horse dressed as a marine firing like a mad?

this is only a idea...i have not talent to do that..i hope some good artist can do it ._.

Team Liquid on the center of the shirt, with some emblem in the middle (of Team Liquid), possibly a horse up on its hind legs. Then fake sponsors on the shoulders that somehow relate to TL's history. Don't have any idea for what they could be off the top of my head, but I agree that a TL shirt that looks like a progamer shirt would be awesome.

Though if you can only have a design in the center, that kind of kills it.

We can't realistically do a proteam shirt. Most proteam shirts look like team shirts because they employ soccer-shirt-like base colorings like striped sleeves (single thick stripe or multiple thin stripes parallel to arm), colored neckband or sleeve bands (basically half a ringer), a solid band of color under the arm going down, or a colored shoulder area. Most also have the sponsor patches which helps distinguish them as a team as well. The best we could hope to do would be similar to the wemade style of shirts we ordered or the (current?) casual MBCGame shirts with just perpendicularly striped sleeves, because printmojo might have something like that available. So unless we can have numerous screens done on each shirt, I don't think they'd have anything that could be made to clearly look like a proteam shirt.

If someone can come up with a great proteam design despite the restrictions that'd be amazing, but I'm just wondering if it's possible.

If it's up for debate, I wouldn't mind seeing something else like a TL cap (either baseball or knit). We could also do that in addition to a shirt, try a long sleeve shirt, or something completely different (tote bag, jacket, whatever).

Ya - i'm diggin' the idea of a teamliquid pro-gaming shirt.

What are the specifics for the shirt? It has to be plain text and easy colors? like a white shirt w/ just text etc?
Because if like, there are almost no boundaries, here would be an interesting concept:

Black shirt w/ white-ringers around neck, arm-sleeves. Maybe white bands on the side of torso, from under pit-area like mentioned earlier. White text on front, centered in chest area; "teamLiquid.SC" on one line and "e-sports div." on 2nd line, under 1st obviously.
Perhaps on the back, some bold white text thats either serious or corny, its up for debate and a few different styles of text, for instance:
one example could be from top of spine to bottom reading: "go 1:1?" or "go game?"
or another could be something in regular writing, across the shoulders that reads something similar.

And instead of sponsors, that we don't have, you could mention either a) pro-gamers iD's or b) foreign players iD's that are on the top of the food chain as logo's on the sleeves of the shirts.

y'know.. ppl that have really defined and expanded pro-gaming and e-sports from either perspective, korean or foriegn and that way, there's definately enough iD's to use as "sponsors" for sleeves and such. Maybe 4-5 on each sleeve and a couple of different race users for each as well and they should be embroided on some sort of patch w/ their game-iD's inside the patch etc.

Also, there should be a design on the front, behind the txt, this being the most arguble, but perhaps a individual race-icon, like the hydra, zeal or marine icon that represents each player race like (P)

I personally like Protoss the best (go figure) but i'm sure its to each his own, as Zerg players would prolly rather have the hydra icon etc.
For the back, there should be some sort of nifty tribal design too, to kinda jazz it up.

fever outfits like disco dancing of course the lite up floor would spell out team liquid and of course there would be little hydralisk , zelot on the floor dancing too.... let me know what you all think ..laters

My idea was to get each progamer for a particular team and get their korean characters and id and put it looping in really small font around the shirt, then on the back just below the neck a little tl pony

this is what a footy club in australia has done, on the jumper there are all the players names that have played for the club and i think that it looks pretty good, the shirt would have names all the way through and a tl logo somewhere with a tagline perhaps
we could even do this for tl members rofl
