So my fiance and I just got a new puppy and we've been calling it maximus... max... maxi-pad... w/e suits it at the time but we need to decide on a new name.. and we need a forum to get some opinions so give your thoughts.. thanks

Honestly I usually call my dogs by color/appearance. I would call that one Black or Negro/Nigger (that is not offensive here, it's common for people's nickname or even dog names) or something along those lines.
